Lahore: A Lahore court has rejected the interim bail plea of actress Nazish Jahangir in a fraud case filed against her.
The police at the Defense C police station have registered a case of fraud against Nazish Jahangir. The session court in Lahore dismissed her bail application due to her failure to appear in court.
The case was lodged by fellow actress Azan Aswad Haroon. According to the FIR, Nazish Jahangir borrowed 2.5 million rupees and a car for two months. However, even after the two-month period had lapsed, she did not return either the money or the vehicle.
The court also extended the interim bail of co-accused Sikandar until the first week of October.
