A woman impersonating an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) was arrested in Lahore after she entered a police office wearing a fake uniform.
While the woman wore a police uniform, her choice of fancy shoes raised suspicions among the security personnel at the entrance. When she requested to speak to an officer, saying she had business with them, the guards became wary due to her inappropriate footwear.
Upon further questioning, the impostor was unable to provide any evidence to support her claims. The Civil Lines police took her into custody and registered a case against her. According to the police, the woman is a resident of Defence, and an investigation is currently underway.
