Rawalpindi / Lahore: The Inspector General (IG) of Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has commended police officers and personnel in Rawalpindi for ensuring law and order, while also appreciating the public for their cooperation.
According to Express News, IG Punjab praised the Rawalpindi Police for their dedication, courage, and bravery in maintaining peace and security, stating that the officers, including the Regional Police Officer (RPO), City Police Officer (CPO), and SSP Operations Rawalpindi, remained consistently present in the field.
Dr. Usman Anwar noted that all necessary security and traffic arrangements, including flag marches, were effectively executed, and the overall situation in the Rawalpindi region remained peaceful. He highlighted that the law was upheld, and all field units of the Rawalpindi Police deserved recognition for their dedicated service.
He also expressed his gratitude to the officers and personnel injured while maintaining order, acknowledging the invaluable support from citizens, security agencies, and the media in ensuring peace.
The IG Punjab reaffirmed his commitment to protecting the lives and property of the public and encouraged officers and personnel to continue their work with the same zeal in the future.
