Karachi: Gold prices have decreased for the second consecutive day in both global and local markets today.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce fell by $6, reaching a level of $2,657.
Meanwhile, in local jewelry markets, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by 700 PKR, settling at 276,000 PKR. The price for 10 grams of gold also decreased by 601 PKR, now at 236,625 PKR.
In contrast to the decline in gold prices, the price of silver remained stable, with the price per tola unchanged at 3,050 PKR. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of silver held steady at 2,614.88 PKR.
