During the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) connection camp, cricketers have raised their voices about the board’s NOC (No Objection Certificate) policy for foreign leagues.
According to media reports, national players questioned PCB officials during the camp, stating, “We agree that performance hasn’t been up to the mark because mental peace is essential for it.”
One cricketer urged the board to reconsider the NOC policy for foreign leagues, expressing frustration that PCB often delays approvals and doesn’t provide timely responses.
In response, PCB Chairman directed Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer to review the NOC process.
Insiders have revealed that some PCB officials were displeased with the discussion of financial and NOC issues during the camp, suggesting that such topics were inappropriate for that setting.
Meanwhile, cricketer sources hinted that while the board discussed player surgeries, it might be the PCB itself that needs a “surgery” to address its internal matters.
The tension reflects a growing desire for clearer communication and reforms within PCB regarding player welfare and opportunities abroad.
