Mumbai: Renowned comedian, rapper, and singer Munawar Faruqui has purchased a luxurious apartment in Mumbai’s upscale area of New Cuffe Parade, Wadala.
According to property documents, Munawar bought the stunning residence for a whopping ₹6.09 crore. The apartment is located in Lodha Aura, a premium project by Lodha Group, which is part of an under-construction high-rise development.
Wadala has gained significant prominence in the real estate market in recent years due to its excellent connectivity to the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and its attractive residential and commercial projects. This has made it a favored location for both investors and celebrities.
Munawar’s new home spans 164.25 square meters (1,767.97 square feet) and includes three dedicated parking spaces.
The deal was finalized in September 2024, with a stamp duty of ₹36.6 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000 paid to complete the purchase.
