Manu Bhaker, who won a silver and bronze medal for India in shooting events at the Paris Olympics, has left her fans in shock with the staggering price of her pistol.
Reports circulating on social media suggest that the Olympian’s pistol is priced between INR 1.5 to 1.85 lakh, a figure that has left many amazed.
However, in response to the excitement, Manu Bhaker clarified to her enthusiastic fans that the price depends on several factors, such as the model you’re purchasing, whether it’s second-hand, or if it’s custom-made.
She further explained, “It’s a one-time investment, but once you reach a certain level, companies offer pistols for free.”
In a previous interview, Manu Bhaker addressed criticism from fellow Indians for wearing her medals all the time, clarifying that she only does so upon the request of event organizers and has no personal desire to wear them constantly.
Bhaker’s response followed after some backlash on social media, but her focus remains firmly on her sporting career, with her brand value continuing to soar alongside fellow Olympians like Neeraj Chopra.
