Mumbai: Former Bollywood actress and politician Urmila Matondkar has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband, Mohsin Akhtar, after eight years of marriage.
Rumors about the couple’s separation have been circulating across various social media platforms, with Indian media confirming that the two have already parted ways.
According to reports, sources from a Mumbai court have revealed that Urmila has officially filed for divorce, although the reasons behind the separation remain unknown.

Urmila Matondkar and Mohsin Akhtar tied the knot in February 2016, surprising fans and the Bollywood industry alike due to their different religions and Mohsin Akhtar’s background from Kashmir.
Mohsin Akhtar, ten years younger than Urmila, is a Kashmiri businessman and model. The couple first met in 2014 at a wedding event organized by designer Manish Malhotra.
