Gold prices in both global and local markets have seen a substantial increase today, reaching new all-time highs.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce has risen by $25, now standing at a remarkable $2,653.
Meanwhile, local jewelry markets have also recorded historic price levels for gold. On Wednesday, the price for 24-carat gold per tola increased by 2,500 Pakistani rupees, reaching a new high of 275,500 rupees.
Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams in the country has also surged by 2,144 rupees, hitting a new high of 236,197 rupees.
In addition to gold, silver prices have also risen significantly today. The price of silver per tola increased by 100 rupees, now priced at 3,050 rupees, while the price of silver per 10 grams rose by 85.74 rupees, reaching 2,614.88 rupees.
