KARACHI: Pakistani model and actress Sunita Marshall expressed her strong support for the joint family system during her appearance on a morning show.
She stated that living with in-laws brings many conveniences to life, alleviating worries about various issues.
Sunita highlighted that one of the primary benefits of residing with in-laws is the relief from child-rearing responsibilities, as grandparents are present in the home.
She mentioned that her mother-in-law takes care of daily needs, such as meal preparation and grocery shopping, while also helping with her personal issues, including managing clothing.
Fellow actress Tuba Anwar, who was also part of the program, praised the importance of the joint family system, emphasizing that living together enhances children’s upbringing and provides them with valuable learning opportunities from the elders in the household.
