TEL AVIV: Hamas has refuted Israeli claims regarding the alleged death or loss of contact with its leader, Yahya Sinwar, following an airstrike.
According to Arab media reports, Hamas spokesman Dr. Khalid Qadumi stated that the organization maintains a strong and effective connection with Sinwar and is receiving instructions from him.
He emphasized that the Israeli propaganda is false, asserting that Yahya Sinwar is safe and actively leading the resistance against Israel.
Dr. Qadumi noted that Israel aims to demoralize Palestinians with such deceitful propaganda, but the Zionist state will be met with significant disappointment in this endeavor.
The Hamas spokesman also expressed determination that under Yahya Sinwar’s leadership, Palestinians will reclaim their rights from the occupying Israeli forces.
This clarification comes in light of recent reports suggesting that Sinwar was killed in an airstrike in Gaza, prompting Israeli intelligence to launch an investigation to confirm his status.
