Mumbai: Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” has been overtaken by “Stree 2,” which has crossed the incredible milestone of ₹600 crores at the Indian box office.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, this horror-comedy featuring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor has become the first Hindi film in box office history to achieve this milestone.
Film analyst Taran Adarsh posted on social media, stating, “It has crossed ₹600 crores… ‘Stree 2’ has made history as the first Hindi film to achieve this milestone.”
He further mentioned that “‘Stree 2’ is winning everywhere, from metros to non-metros, multiplexes to single screens, and from urban centers to large public markets.”
Taran Adarsh also provided a weekly box office analysis since the release of “Stree 2.”
