Sharjah: South Africa defeated Afghanistan by seven wickets in the third ODI.
In the final match of the three-match series played in Sharjah, Afghanistan won the toss and opted to bat first, scoring 169 runs before being dismissed in 34 overs.
South Africa successfully chased down the target of 170 runs in just 33 overs, losing three wickets. Aiden Markram remained unbeaten with 69 runs, while Tristan Stubbs scored 26 runs.
Earlier, Rahmanullah Gurbaz played a brilliant innings for Afghanistan, scoring 89 runs, while A.M. Ghazanfari remained not out at 31 runs.
It is worth noting that the Afghanistan cricket team made history by winning the series against South Africa for the first time, having secured victories in the first and second ODIs.
