Karachi: Pakistani showbiz industry’s renowned morning show host Nida Yasir has stated that only three events were held during her wedding.
Recently, Nida Yasir appeared as a guest on host and actor Faisal Qureshi’s podcast, where she shared insights about her wedding expenses.
Nida Yasir mentioned that she has been hosting morning shows for over 15 years and has received immense love from her fans during this time.
She noted that over the years, her morning show featured wedding-related content since audiences used to enjoy such material, but trends have significantly changed now.
When Faisal Qureshi asked her about the expenses for her wedding, Nida revealed that her wedding was conducted in a very luxurious manner.
She explained that only three events took place during her wedding: the first day included a Milad in the evening and a Mayun ceremony at night, followed by a Mehndi ceremony the next day and then the Baraat.
Nida mentioned that it has been 22 years since her wedding, and the total cost of her wedding events 22 years ago was around 1 million Pakistani rupees.
She clarified that this amount only covers the events at her mother’s house, as the Walima was hosted by Yasar’s family, and they bore those expenses.
It is worth noting that Nida married actor and director Yasar Nawaz in 2002, and the couple has three children.
