Rapper and music mogul Diddy was arrested by federal agents during an operation at the Park Hyatt New York hotel.
TMZ obtained footage showing Diddy, clad in a trench coat, entering the hotel lobby with his entourage, unaware of the impending arrest. As he stepped inside, law enforcement officers swiftly separated him from his team, leaving them bewildered.
The video later captures Diddy handcuffed and escorted by federal agents through the hotel corridor and out the entrance, visible to onlookers. His arrest, which was anticipated for Tuesday, came as a surprise when agents moved in the night before.
Diddy faces serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn after being denied bail, with prosecutors describing him as a “danger.”
His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, criticized the prosecution, asserting, “Diddy is a self-made entrepreneur and icon, and we believe this is an unjust pursuit by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.” Diddy’s legal team continues to fight the charges.
