Princess Beatrice, though not a working royal, has a special honor in store for her daughter, Sienna, who recently celebrated her third birthday. Beatrice shares Sienna with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, an architect and property developer.
While Sienna will not receive a royal title since she is not a direct grandchild of the monarch, she is set to inherit a title from her father’s Italian nobility. Edoardo, whose father, Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, is an Italian count, is the family’s sole male descendant, making him the future head of the family.
As a result, Beatrice will automatically become a countess, and their daughter, Sienna, will hold the title of “nobile donna” or noblewoman. Count Alessandro previously shared, “Edoardo is a count, his wife will be a countess automatically, and any of their children will be counts or nobile donna.”
Princess Beatrice, who is ninth in line to the British throne, holds the title of Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice of York. Her daughter, Sienna, follows her mother as the 10th in line.
Meanwhile, Beatrice’s father, Prince Andrew, was stripped of his royal titles and patronages following his controversial 2019 Newsnight interview regarding his friendship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and accusations of sexual misconduct.
