In Balochistan’s Mastung district, two Levies Force personnel were martyred, and three others, including a senior officer, were injured on Friday when tribesmen opened fire near a Levies station. The attack followed the arrest of a tribal elder’s brother, sparking protests that blocked the Quetta-Noshki Highway.
In a separate incident, eight security personnel were injured in Kalat after an IED explosion targeted their vehicle. The injured were transported to local hospitals, and security forces launched a search operation to apprehend the attackers.
