The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) is set to host its 24th edition at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, from *September 27-29, 2024*. Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the event will celebrate Hindi and South Indian cinema across five major industries.
At the press conference, *Shah Rukh Khan* expressed his excitement about hosting the prestigious *NEXA IIFA Awards, saying, *”IIFA is a global celebration of Indian cinema, and I look forward to bringing this energy to Yas Island again.” He also added, “The diversity of our cinema will shine brightly in this incredible global platform.”
*Karan Johar, co-host of the event, remarked, *”IIFA is where the magic of cinema truly comes alive, bringing the best of Bollywood to the world.” He also emphasized, “Yas Island has become synonymous with cinematic excellence, and we are thrilled to return for another spectacular year.”
*Vicky Kaushal, who will co-host the awards, commented, *”It’s an honor to be part of IIFA again, celebrating the art of cinema with such a passionate global audience.” He continued, “This year promises unforgettable moments, and I am excited to share the stage with legends like Shah Rukh Khan.”
*Rana Daggubati, representing South Indian cinema, said, *”IIFA brings together the finest talents from across industries, showcasing the richness of Indian cinema.” He added, “I am proud to be a part of this global celebration, representing the vibrant South Indian film fraternity.”
*Siddhant Chaturvedi, co-host of **IIFA Rocks, stated, *”Music and cinema go hand in hand, and IIFA Rocks is the perfect platform to celebrate this powerful combination.” He also shared, “I am excited to entertain the audience and make this event an unforgettable experience.”
*Abhishek Banerjee, also hosting IIFA Rocks, said, *”IIFA is a melting pot of talent, and being part of this grand celebration is a dream come true.” He further expressed, “I can’t wait to bring my energy and humor to the stage at IIFA Rocks.”
