Meghan Markle stepped in as a translator for her husband, Prince Harry, on the final day of their Colombia tour, seemingly drawing attention away from the much-loved royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
For those unfamiliar, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s four-day tour was filled with touching moments between the couple.
From a playful salsa dance to a romantic kiss, the Montecito pair conveyed a powerful message of unity to the royal family.
On the last day of their visit, Harry and Meghan attended the Petronio Alvarez Pacific Music Festival in Cali, where they addressed a large and enthusiastic crowd.
During the event, King Charles’ son turned to his wife for help translating his English remarks into Spanish for the festival attendees.
Harry asked Meghan, “Can you help me translate?” To which the Duchess, with a sweet smile, lovingly replied, “Of course.”
The former working royal then expressed in English, “Thank you for your beautiful culture, and thank you, thank you for your incredible hospitality.”
Reacting to this heartwarming moment, a fan on X (formerly Twitter) commented, “Prince Archie and Princess Lili Diana’s parents are so in love. Here, Prince Harry asked Meghan Markle to translate his heartfelt remarks into Spanish for the audience. What a team.”
With the Prince and Princess of Wales absent due to the future Queen’s health issues, some fans speculate that the Sussexes are setting new couple goals.
