HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A crash involving a tree resulted in one death and one injury in the Briar Forest area on Wednesday afternoon.
The Houston Police Department reported that the single-vehicle accident occurred in the 12400 block of Briar Forest Drive. The incident was reported around 1:25 p.m. when a vehicle struck a tree.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was transported to the hospital for treatment.
HPD advised drivers to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
