HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The Houston Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a suspect accused of assaulting a Montrose resident.
Greg Audel, 57, recounted to that he was walking his dog when a stranger, whom he did not know, suddenly punched him. Audel tried to escape, but the man chased him into the street and continued to assault him until bystanders intervened.
The attack occurred in early April near Waugh Drive and Pierce Street in Montrose.
“He was straddling me on his knees and just punching me,” Audel said.
Police have released a sketch of the suspect involved in the assault.
Authorities also indicated that the suspect might be the same individual who attacked an older man about a week later. After reviewing photos released by the police, Audel believes the same man attacked him.
