Dallas Police are seeking a suspect following the fatal shooting of a teenage boy during an armed robbery in a Dallas neighborhood on Saturday afternoon.
The Dallas Police Department responded to a shooting incident in the 4500 block of Rockport Drive at approximately 3:35 p.m. on February 17th, after receiving reports of gunfire.
Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered 18-year-old Noah Willis with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts by emergency personnel from the Dallas Fire-Rescue, Willis succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations indicate that Willis was the victim of a robbery preceding the shooting.
At present, no suspects are in custody, and the police department has not provided details regarding the suspect’s description. The investigation into the fatal shooting is ongoing.
