A 1-year-old child was killed and a woman was injured in a drive-by shooting in Old East Dallas Sunday night, according to police.
The shooting happened about 9:30 p.m. in the 4700 block of Hay Street, off Grand and Haskell avenues. The victims were taken to a hospital, where the child died and the woman was listed in stable condition.
Dallas police did not immediately describe the relationship between the woman and the child or what led up to the shooting.
