A man was arrested Tuesday after he shot and killed another man earlier in the day in South Dallas.
Bradley Eakin, 27, faces a murder charge and is being held at the Dallas County Jail on a $1 million bond, records show. It was unclear whether he had an attorney.
Officers responded to the 2400 block of Coombs Street, near South Cesar Chavez Boulevard, just after 8 a.m. and found the shooting victim, police said. The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital where he died.
No other details were immediately available, including what events led up to the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
