HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Four people were injured in a drive-by shooting outside of a convenience store in northeast Houston Tuesday evening.
At about 6:46 p.m., police received a call about a shooting at the Sun Food Store at 6729 Lockwood Drive.
When officers arrived, they found three men and a woman with gunshot wounds, the Houston Police Department said. One of the men and the woman were taken to the hospital, while two men were treated at the scene. The conditions of the two hospitalized victims were not released.
According to HPD, a black truck turned southbound on Lockwood, and shots were fired as it drove by. It is unclear how many shooters were in the vehicle, but officers believe at least two were involved. HPD added that the bullet casings found at the scene suggest a handgun and rifle were used.
A description of the suspects was not immediately available. Police said the truck involved is described a black, four-door truck, with silver rims. Investigators are also looking at surveillance footage.
Anyone with information is urged to contact HPD at 713-884-3131 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
