A woman was struck and killed by a sedan Friday night near a Walmart in Mountain Creek, police said.
Dallas police responded about 9:40 p.m. to the 8700 block of Clark Road, where the woman had been hit. The woman was leaving a nearby Walmart and was pushing a shopping cart across the street, KXAS-TV (NBC5) reported.
The woman was pronounced dead by first responders. Police did not release her identity.
The driver stopped and waited for officers, police said, but it’s unknown whether the driver faces charges.
No additional information was available.
