Two teens were found shot Monday morning at a North Richland Hills home, police said.
Anthony Aponte, 17, was pronounced dead at the home and Isaiah Manuel Aponte, 19, was taken to an area hospital where he died, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office. Both lived at the home.
Officers were sent to the home in 5100 block of Gibbons Drive north of Interstate 20 after a shooting was reported around 6 a.m., North Richland Hills police said in a statement.
Police said officers are canvassing the area and detectives are following several leads. But police said the investigation leads them to believe there is no threat to the public.
The medical examiner’s website did not yet list the cause of death for either person.
Police urged anyone with information about the shooting to contact the North Richland Hills Police Department with case number 22N03893.
