In Houston, Texas (KTRK), authorities are currently seeking the individual responsible for shooting two teenage boys in north Houston on Friday night.
According to reports, police responded to the scene at 23 Casa Grande Drive around 10:08 p.m. following reports of two individuals being shot.
It was revealed that a 16-year-old and another individual aged 18 or 19 were spending time in a park behind apartments when they heard gunfire and subsequently sustained gunshot wounds, as stated by HPD Lt. R. Willkens.
Although investigators discovered shell casings and video footage showing the boys walking to the park, the actual shooting was not captured on camera. Authorities are actively seeking additional video footage or any potential witnesses to aid in their investigation.
As of now, the police do not have a description of the shooter.
The 16-year-old sustained injuries to the upper body but is reportedly in stable condition despite the severity of the wounds. The 18 or 19-year-old, who was shot in the leg, is expected to recover.
