\\One person was killed in a shooting at a shopping center in Arlington on Saturday afternoon.
Officers were called around 2:25 p.m. to the 4000 block of South Cooper Street and found two men lying on the ground, police said.
A 31-year-old, man whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second man, a 29-year-old, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Multiple people were detained at the scene for questioning and detectives are in the process of interviewing them, police said.
Police said they believe the shooting wasn’t random, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
No other information about the incident was made available.
