One person was injured Monday in a fire at an apartment complex in Far North Dallas, Dallas Fire-Rescue said.
Units were dispatched about 2 p.m. to a fire at an apartment complex in the 2500 block of Players Court, near Frankford Road and the Bush Turnpike.
When first responders arrived, they found a two-story apartment building fully engulfed in flames, officials said.
The building suffered extensive fire damage, including a partial roof collapse, officials said. Investigators said all 16 units in the building were damaged and at least 40 residents were displaced.
One resident was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
